“Fraudulent "Bespoke" Architecture – A Technical Autopsy of a Scam Do not throw your money away at this shop. They are running a textbook bait-and-switch operation: marketing outsourced Made-to-Measure factory garments as "bespoke." I spent four months dealing with them, and the final jacket is a catastrophic failure of basic tailoring physics. I went in for at least 3-4 separate fittings. Every single time, I explicitly pointed out that the collar was off. They repeatedly failed to adjust for it. Instead of fixing their structural errors, they actually tried to gaslight me—claiming that the massive, ugly roll of fabric under my neck was "supposed to be like that because of the full canvas." That is a blatant lie. A high-quality canvas is meant to make a jacket drape smoother, not create a buckling shelf of fabric. The pattern cutter is miles away in India, and the local front-of-house staff are completely incompetent amateurs masquerading as tailors. I have asymmetrical shoulders (one sits lower than the other). At the final fitting, they noticed one sleeve looked too long. Instead of understanding why—which any apprentice tailor would know is a shoulder slope issue—they simply chopped the sleeve hem shorter. They treated a fundamental structural flaw with a cosmetic band-aid. Because they failed to cut the jacket pattern to accommodate my shoulder pitch, the entire garment's balance is broken (as clearly shown in the back-profile photos): Severe Collar Roll: A massive, unsightly roll of fabric buckles right below my neck because the back panel height is completely wrong for my posture. Torque and Diagonal Pulling: The jacket suffers from aggressive diagonal tension lines pulling across the mid-back. Because the shoulder slope wasn't compensated for, the fabric is collapsing and twisting on one side. Hem Catching: The jacket completely traps my hips and seat rather than cleanly draping, forcing the side vents to warp and flare outward. A real bespoke house creates a unique paper pattern to handle human asymmetry and listens to customer feedback during fittings. This shop takes basic measurements, ships them off to an overseas factory, lies to your face when they mess up, and hopes you won't notice when the final product fits like garbage. They wasted four months of my time. Save yours and go to an actual on-site craftsman.”

“Part 1 (May'23) I have always wanted to tailor a light grey glen check suit for my wedding and the experience at Perfect Attire, was truly perfect :) The fabric selection is extensive (esp. if you are looking at European wools) and I managed to find the perfect fabric from VBC's Perennial S110s collection. I decided to go with a more classic fit (as advised by Tulsi) for this suit to complement the double reverse pleats that I wanted for the trousers. The final product was amazing and definitely worth the extra $ that you pay compared to the entry level tailors in SG. Extra touches such as the surgeon cuffs, Milanese buttonhole, cocktail cuffs for the shirt, and full canvas were all included - as you would expect from a truly bespoke suit. Thanks Tulsi, for the perfect attire experience! Part 2 (Apr'25) Back here again at Perfect Attire - this time to commission a tuxedo, as the 2nd suit for my wedding. I confess that I wanted to explore other tailors, but I decided to come back to engage Tulsi's services and the 1st suit had far exceeded my expectations. Fabric wise - I settled for a simple all black wool blend fabric this time round, but I opted for grosgrain silk for the peak lapels (over the conventional satin silk) which many other tailors did not offer. Style wise - I opted for a more modern and slim fit look this time round. As advised by Tulsi, a modern tuxedo has a clean, minimalist look - no cummerbund, no pleats, hidden plackets for the shirts.
