“Overall, the restaurant is well maintained and has a luxurious atmosphere. The main dining area feels elegant and upscale. However, if you are dining with children, you will be seated in the family section, which has a lower ceiling and does not feel quite as grand. That said, the family area is pleasant, located next to a garden, and offers nice sea views through the windows. As for the food, I was not particularly impressed. Having dined at many good Italian restaurants in Bangkok, I felt that the flavors here were not especially authentic or memorable. The dishes were decent, but they did not stand out, and I would not consider them among the better Italian meals I have had. The pricing is another drawback. While it is not excessively expensive, I felt that the quality of the food did not fully justify the price. The service, on the other hand, was excellent. The staff were attentive, professional, and happy to accommodate any requests, which significantly enhanced the overall dining experience. What surprised and disappointed me the most was the water policy. We were served still water at ฿80 per bottle and ended up ordering several bottles, only to discover that we had spent nearly ฿500 on water alone. What made this particularly disappointing was that the water appeared to be filtered house water served in reusable glass bottles rather than commercially bottled mineral water. In many high-end Italian restaurants in Bangkok, bottled water can be expensive—sometimes ฿400–500 per bottle—but at least it is a recognizable premium brand served in its original factory-sealed bottle. Here, paying extra for what felt like ordinary filtered water seemed unreasonable and out of place for a restaurant positioning itself as upscale. In summary, the restaurant offers a beautiful setting and excellent service, but the food did not meet my expectations, and the water pricing left a negative impression.”

“eview: Prego, Pattaya Prego is located on Beach Road in Pattaya and offers both indoor and outdoor seating with a beautiful view of the sea. It’s an authentic Italian restaurant serving original dishes such as pasta, pizza, and ravioli, along with a good selection of wines. I had pizza and pasta, accompanied by a few cocktails. The quality of the food was excellent — delicious flavors and perfectly prepared. The pasta came with plenty of Parmesan, and there was even a staff member dedicated to serving it. The employees were very friendly, attentive, and professionally dressed, which added to the pleasant atmosphere. I visited with my wife, and it was a wonderful experience, especially sitting outside and enjoying the seaside view. The prices are quite reasonable considering the high quality of the food. I can definitely recommend Prego and will be returning again next year — this was my second visit, after first dining there three years ago.”

“They provide the Lovely pizza and Italian food. It’s a lovely place to have meal outdoors on the patio area or in the garden area. Even the tables inside are also very comfortable. It’s a little bit pricey, especially it’s the restaurant in the hotel, they do have plus plus on top of the food and drinks price.”

“Pretty good Italian place, right at the corner of the beachfront. Conveniently located within walking distance of Terminal 21. Lasagna is excellent - must order. Burrata Fresca and Pici al Sugo pasta also pretty good. Service was excellent too. Expect about 600 baht per person without wine.”

“Prego is the restaurant you go to in Pattaya if you want excellent Italian cuisine coupled with exceptional service. For those that live in Bangkok, Prego’s food is on par with Bianca or Mozza by Cocotte (but with better prices and as wide a variety of menu options). The prosciutto I had tonight was excellent as were the pasta and wine. A big round of applause for all the servers, and especially NUEA who took the extra effort to make sure that this solo diner was well taken care of. She’s very charming and professional. Highly recommended! (UPDATE March 22, 2026): With the recent opening of the new dining hall, why would I go eat at any other restaurant in Pattaya? This is perfection!!!”
