“The food and drinks are superb here! Probably the highlight of all the restaurants from my first visit to Yangon. A great mix of local and international dishes. Just stick with the local ones since they are excellent. Ordered the lahpet htamin thoke (tea leaf rice salad) and the mine thar grilled chicken. It was a great pairing. The rice salad was a good blend of local flavors, no single ingredient overpowering the rest. The grilled chicken was juicy, cooked just right, and served with a mildly spicy dipping sauce. For drinks, they feature Namsu Gin, a locally distilled gin. If you know me, gin is my favorite. They have inventive cocktails like the mangosteen sour. It’s also 50% off certain cocktails from 3–7pm on weekdays, meaning you can get a cocktail for as low as $1.50 USD 🤯. Friendly staff and a nice, chill ambience. Not surprised this place ranks high on every must-visit list in Yangon.”
“I am a long-time fan of Rangoon Tea House from my time in Yangon, so I was thrilled to visit their Bangkok branch. Just like the original, the service is top-notch and the atmosphere is wonderful. The food is consistently good—authentic flavors that remind me of home. Highly recommend the Shan tofu noodles and the Burmese milk tea!" Also often visit the two Rangoon Tea House locations in Yangon and they never disappoint. Whether I’m at the original Pansodan spot or the one on Inya Myaing, the service is always professional and welcoming. The food is excellent every single time. It’s my go-to place for high-quality Burmese cuisine and a great cup of tea."”
“Very chill vibe tea/cafe house. Theres a bar upstair for more quite area. Will be better if there more vegetarian choice toh( with no Onion and Garlic one.”
“Good staff but the price of any foods is not friendly to others. I paid all things on my table for 170,000 mmk, and the taste were so far not enough good. No more and not recommended to others.”
“This is a fusion-style restaurant offering a mix of Burmese local dishes, Indian cuisine, and items similar to Cantonese-style tea house fare. They play traditional Burmese music in the background, giving the place a nostalgic and cultural atmosphere. The restaurant is housed in a two-story wooden building with a spacious layout, creating a grand and open feel. It has a classic charm with a touch of local character. Aside from being a bit noisy, the overall environment is quite nice — I would rate the ambiance between 4 and 4.5 stars. As for the food, the portions are quite small and the prices are on the higher side, so the value for money is relatively low. I'd rate the food around 3.5 stars. If the pricing were more reasonable, it could deserve 4 stars. The service is decent. The staff speak English, and there’s an English menu available. However, the Wi-Fi is basically unusable. Service overall can be rated 4 stars. In summary: Food: 3.5–4 stars (due to small portions and high prices) Service: 4 stars Environment: 4–4.5 stars (minus some points for noise) Overall: 4 stars”
