The Brewing Ground

“Brewing Ground is a cozy day restaurant offering a breakfast and simple brunch menu that’s available all day, though they close early at 5pm. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available, making it a nice spot for different moods. On weekdays, especially between 9:00 to 10:30am, the atmosphere is particularly peaceful and unhurried. We sat outdoors this morning and really enjoyed the cool breeze it set the tone for a relaxed and pleasant meal. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. We ordered the crab pasta and mentaiko fries, and the portions were very reasonable for the price. The crab pasta came with a rich, creamy sauce that was genuinely delicious ,flavorful, indulgent, and clearly well thought out. Unfortunately, the pasta itself didn’t live up to the quality of the sauce. The texture tasted floury and dense, almost like pasta made from lower-quality flour, which really held the dish back. It felt like a waste of such a good sauce, as the sauce deserved a better pasta that could properly carry and complement its richness. On the other hand, the mentaiko fries were excellent. The fries were crispy and addictive on their own, and taken to another level with the generous amount of mentaiko sauce. It was indulgent, satisfying, and definitely a dish I’d order again. Despite the pasta letdown, we still had a good time overall and would come back to try other items on the menu , perhaps the burger next time. Brewing Ground has a lot going for it, and with a small improvement to the pasta quality, it could easily be even better. Second visit : fish and chips was good . Light crispy crust fresh succulents fish .”

“I've come here multiple times on weekdays and weekends. It's usually packed on weekends but they have 2 dining spaces and outdoor seating open on weekends to handle the crowds. Weekdays are quieter but never empty. The wagyu cheeseburger was juicy, tender, and very yummy. Decent sized as well. The fries were well fried - better than some French bistros! Generous portion of fries too. The lemon pistachio was very moist, tasty, zesty, and my party honestly couldn't stop eating it. I felt that it was too sweet because the top crust was pure sugar. Otherwise, nice. Matcha latte was above average but I've had better. Staff are eloquent and generally very pleasant. Not exceptional service but not poor either. Some staff were very eager to clear our plates when we actually weren't done, and we had to politely tell them no. A great place overall to catch up with friends and enjoy a nice meal.”

“This is a hidden restaurant tucked inside a school compound. Surprisingly, the queue can be quite long, with dining limited to a one-hour seating, which speaks volumes about the strong local community support for the place. A few dishes are worth highlighting, especially the crab meat pasta and the Big Breakfast. The bacon is thick-cut, unlike the thin slices commonly found elsewhere. The spinach is well sautéed and pairs nicely with the scrambled eggs. The pasta is creamy and rich in flavour without being overly salty, and the portion is quite filling. Overall, it was a very pleasant dining experience, and the crowd was well-mannered, keeping noise levels comfortably low.”

“Third visit in the last 4 years, and it’s one of those rare places where the quality and taste of the food lived up to the same standard as what I remember! Had their Eggs Benjamin and thoroughly enjoyed it. Portion was generous including the spinach, mushrooms and tomatoes which made it a more balanced and satisfying meal overall. Crab meat pasta was pretty good too, they were quite generous with the crabmeat and the ikura compliments nicely. Plus good coffee, friendly service and relaxing environment with cute dogs - will definitely be back again for the fourth time : )”

“Been wanting to try breakfast at The Brewing Ground for the longest time — and on this beautifully overcast Sunday morning, we finally made it happen. ☁️☕️ Tucked inside a little compound with surprisingly ample parking, the vibe was relaxed, cozy, and exactly the kind of slow morning we needed. And the breakfast? Absolutely worth the wait. 🍳✨”
