Saigon Café - International Seafood Buffet Restaurant

“Buffets can be a gamble. Big promises, endless options but sometimes lacking soul. Saigon Café manages to strike a better balance. We came for lunch, and right away it feels a step above your typical buffet. The selection is wide, covering everything from Vietnamese dishes to Western options, and it includes tea and coffee, which is a nice touch. But the surprise highlight? The phở. In a city famous for phở, I didn’t expect a buffet to deliver one worth remembering but this one does. The noodles are incredibly fresh, silky, and soft. Easily some of the best phở noodles I’ve had in Saigon. It’s the kind of texture that makes you pause for a second and appreciate what you’re eating. The rest of the buffet is solid across the board, giving you plenty of variety whether you’re in the mood for local flavors or something more familiar. It’s not street food, it’s not rough around the edges it’s a more polished experience. But sometimes that’s exactly what you want: good food, comfortable setting, and the ability to try a bit of everything. In a city obsessed with specialization, this is a buffet that still manages to do a few things very right.”

“Had such a great time at this seafood buffet! The variety is amazing - lobster, snow crabs, crawfish, oysters from France and Japan, scallops, clams, and sooo many kinds of snails. Everything you could possibly crave if you love seafood The lamb sous vide was super tender and juicy, and definitely don’t miss the specialty of the day — the goose liver literally melted in my mouth. Such a pleasant surprise at a buffet! Service was fast, efficient, and very attentive. Special shout-out to Hoàng and Khánh — they were super friendly, helpful, and always checking in to make sure we were okay. Really made the experience even better. Only small downside is that dishes get cold pretty quickly, but overall it was still a very enjoyable and satisfying meal.”

The lobsters were huge, fresh, and actually flavorful—not just boiled to death. The sashimi was melt-in-your-mouth quality, which you don't always get at a buffet. • The Service: This is what really made it a 5-star night. The staff is incredibly sharp. My water was topped up before I even realized it was low, and they cleared plates so fast it was like magic. They’re genuinely friendly, not just "hotel polite." • The Variety: Usually, I skip the cooked dishes to save room for seafood, but the carving station (the beef was perfect) and the local Vietnamese corner were actually worth the stomach real estate.”
